Education and preparation are vital components of the adoption process. Family Adoption Consultants is committed to ensuring that every adoptive family is thoroughly prepared and informed about the types of issues and challenges that they and their child may face both now and in the future. We are excited to present interesting and educational training sessions on adoption.
Families in all stages of the adoption process are welcome to attend. We also welcome adoptive families who are utilizing another adoption service provider. Each training will be facilitated by a highly trained professional.
All adoptive families are required to complete training in these topic areas. The sessions offered during this weekend training meet the 10 hours of adoptive parent preparation required by the Hague Convention on Intercountry Adoption (12 hours are required for families adopting from China - FAC will provide additional training options).
Adoption training is typically offered by FAC a few times per year. Please submit your training form and the applicable fees to the FAC office listed on the registration form prior to the indicated deadline.
